Ex-CM of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal passes away at 95; cremation to be done at Badal village on Thursday

Ex-CM of Punjab was suffering from a severe breathing problem for the last few days. He was undergoing treatment after which he died on Tuesday in Mohali at the age of 95 years. President Murmu, and PM Modi gave their condolences on the sad demise of the ex-CM of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal.
Medical Condition of Former Punjab CM
As per the latest bulletin report, the former CM of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal was hospitalized at Fortis Hospital in Mohali a few days back due to a breathing problem. He was admitted to the medical ICU because of a worsening medical condition.
The former Punjab CM was diagnosed by the special critical care team and Dr. Digambar Behera. Despite the best medical treatment, Badal died at the age of 95. Cremation will be done on Thursday at Badal Village.
The political career of Parkash Singh Badal
Badal was the oldest candidate to stand in the state elections of the year 2022. However, he lost to Gurmeet Singh Khudian who is AAP’s candidate. He also toured Lambi for a Thanksgiving session but it was canceled later.
Badal has many interesting records in his political career. He served as the youngest Sarpanch in the year 1952 in Badal Village. In the year 2012, Badal was the oldest CM to serve Punjab.
Badal became the CM of Punjab 5 times from 1970 to 2017. He was also a Union Agriculture Minister for a short term.
Parkash Sigh Badal got defeated only in 2 Assembly elections in his bright political journey of 75 years. EX-CM also received Padma Vibhushan in the year 2015. Badal got the title of Path Rattan Faqr-e-Qaum in the year 2011.
